Jacobs Reunion

We have had a busy month! We had the Jacobs Family Reunion in Island Park for three days the end of July. My family was in charge and since it had been 50 years since dad started building the cabin, and since all my kids are in construction, we decided to have a construction theme.. Jacobs Family-Builders. We had construction games for the kids like nail-hammering contests, had little tool belts for them to decorate and then they got a tool at each of the games. Zac ended the event with a wonderful powerpoint presentation on the memories and history of the cabin and included lots of fun pictures of the past 50 years. He then made it into a beautiful book to leave at the cabin. We also had lots of fun down on the water boating, swimming and playing. It was a great time. All but 7 of the 105 members of mom's family were there sometime during the three days!
