Cookies, Chickens, Horses and Sheep...Fair Time!

Fair time is almost as exciting as Christmas for Tyler and Nichole's kids. With the help of a great mom and dad they had a very busy week! First they entered cookies and huckleberry fudge and got blue ribbons on those. The next day they did the horse show and got all kinds of awards! Macey got first in the bareback competition and Madi got second; Madi got first in the Reining event and Western riding and Macey got 2nd in those and in the Trail riding where she had to go over obstacles with her horse. They had ribbons and trophies everywhere and the rest of the competitors were probably sick of hearing them announce the name of Fillmore!The next day they entered their sheep! It was sure fun watching them show them. Madi had a beautiful smile on her face the whole time as she was trying to "wow" the judge, but Macey looked a little more like she was just concentrating hard. Madi said Macey doesn't know how to "fake smile."

Even Mardee got to show a sheep in the Clover Buds category for younger kids who have older siblings showing. She did awesome too and got a ribbon.

Then the chickens...all four of the girls and even Frank entered a chicken and they all got blue ribbons!

Nichole is the one that should get the grand prize for making it all possible! I bet she is one exhausted mom after this week!
